Strategic Reorganization and Workforce Reduction

The US operations of a large, global merchandising company headquartered in Europe needed to align with the parent’s global business model and profitability goals.  Attain guided the executive and project teams through a Results Focused Backplanning process that created backplans for managing twelve integrated initiatives that effectively closed manufacturing operations in the US, centralized product sourcing, marketing and brand development and realized $12 million in cost reductions.  Additionally, the use of Attain’s Managing Organizational Transitions and Individual Transition in Organizations workshops were key in helping both managers and employees to more effectively manage their transitions and maintain commitment and productivity throughout the change.
