Stagnant Market Position: Innovation

This large business unit of a global specialty chemical company needed to create new markets through innovative use of current technologies and repair frayed working relationships between US and European functional groups.  Working with an internal design team, Attain lead the design and facilitation of a two-day Critical Action Meeting® – for 25 European and US technical and business managers.  Using a structured problem solving model combined with very powerful Creativity and Innovation Techniques, this “Breakthrough Thinking” generated 232 new product ideas.  The final results were a joint venture development of four new product ideas, new sources of revenue and market growth and a more collaborative working relationship.
